What is wrong with my alignment? Any 5th gens with this issue??

I have had an issue for a little while now with my rear drivers side toe being off. my 01 base prelude is lowered and cambered correctly but the toe is still off at -2 degrees. I am burning through tires on the rear drivers side like toilet paper on a grill right now so I really want to get this taken care of so I am not buying tires every F'in 6 months.
A local shop did a diagnostic test and said it was the rear cross member beam, so I went to another place to get that tested and they said that wasn't the issue.
I now have a rear cross member beam that I bought for 150 that I have no use for (besides the point.) With all else failing, I found a fabricator who says he can cut off 1/16 of an inch and then re weld the toe control arm. He will do this over and over, checking the alignment in the process, until the toe is corrected. We came to the conclusion that after a minor accident several years ago that didn't leave a lot of cosmetic damage to the car that it was possible that the frame is slightly bent Now....my question is....is it possible that is it the rear knuckle causing this issue with the toe? OR should I try out the cutting and welding of the toe control arm? Any advice would be great!

Most likely bent the arm. The arm will bend before the cast knuckle. As you said, there may be some slight bending in the frame. You can be sure about the condition of the frame until you put it on a rack and get some real measurements.

I assume that they tried to adjust the toe with the adjustment bolt already.

they have only tried to adjust it by the bolt. do you suggest changing the arm? it doesnt appear to be bent? it is so minimal it may not be visible though right?

If he is trying to weld in only 1/16 of an in on an 12in bar, you wouldn't even notice that 1/16in bend.

depending on your drop I would say get rid of your 19" wheels and go with 17's and loose the camber. Was your accident while it was lowered if so. You will have no option but to cut it then right?

I dont have 19's. i have rsx type s wheels. the accident was from the previous owner. and there is no body damage or panel damage to tell where it happened. I may just say F it and will have to buy tires more often. its not worth the headache anymore!!

toe is effed up, its the most important angle, causes most tire damage.

Re: What is wrong with my alignment? Any 5th gens with this issue??

man i have the same problem on the driver side front wheel. I found a hit in the frame. The mechanic said it pushed the frame back 1/12-1/8th of a inch causing the "diamond effect". in my case i have to find some one to pull the frame back so i dont have to do major surgery to the entire thing.
making sure ur frame isnt f**ed should be ur first step before bending and welding

dude I read whats necessary him telling us that hes running through tires is telling me his angles are effed up Or whoever did the alignment did not do his/her job correctly, Btw if you didnt know Afesposi you should never take springs and put them on your stock struts.Either buy a whole suspension or keep it stock it will create more problems then you initally thought, any old timer with an ASE for suspension will tell you this.
