Does anyone have a trick to removing Hondabond from the bolt thread and the holes themselves...I do not have a "tap and die set" they are too pricey for me to get right now. I tired to use synthetic steel-wool but that would take a year! Any little tricks would be helpful as I think I need to remove it all to get a good bond when I install the parts again. Thanks for any insight!!!

I think I just have to break down and buy the $100+ "tap and die set". I spent an hour trying to clean the bolts and the treads are still full of Hondabond. Tool are far more valuable than knowledge! ROFL.
