Manually popping hood latch

I have a 5th gen, keyless entry, viper alarm. The alarm wire came loose on the pos battery clamp. I have no way of getting inside to pop the hood and fix this problem. Anybody know how to manually pop the hood from the outside? Any help is appreciated, I had to leave my car in downtown los angeles.

Re: Manually popping hood latch

Another idea if you can, is reach behind ya fender flaring above ya tire, you will see the hood cable, try pulling on it, mite pop, another way I have found is cut the ****, and tug on the cables them self with a pair of pliers... should pop for you... best I can tell you for now, right now tho I would tow the bitch HOME!@

Re: Manually popping hood latch

yeah i was gnna say something but i didnt wanna get flammed at.

we had tons of threads of this..or maybe just 3 lol but either way theres threads on this subj..not specifically popping up the latch..but finding a way into a locked car.

answers:

go buy a spare key at honda

or

go get a cut key for $5 at a key store just to open your door.

btw OP, how do you not have your keyless entry alarm with your key? you never even specified where your key was..

Re: Manually popping hood latch
