Wow we have an identical setup. How did you attach the type r boot to the stock boot frame? Nice work!

Looks really good man, I like it. But if u really want some power I would ditch that header. Its good if u wanna just get rid of the stock one but if u want power u gotta go with a hytech, smsp or mugen header. And I think bisimoto just came out with a good header for the h22??

Re: Type R Shift Boot! =D

What boot did you go with? I was under the assumption that there were no JDM boots that fit the 5th gen without some custom fab work. I used a JDM civic type r boot and I had to remove it and sew it on with fishing line to the stock boot frame. It came out perfect but I would have liked to get a proper fitting one from the get go.

Re: Type R Shift Boot! =D

Haha nice. Isnt that knob the ****!? I love it. Did you have any difficulty getting it to be positioned perfectly? If you did I can tell you a quick super easy solution that guarantees perfect shift knob positioning.

Re: Type R Shift Boot! =D

Take a little pice of paper towl and shove it inside the knob and push it to the back. It works perfectly and It gets SUPER TIGHT but it is adjustable and the paper towl isnt hurting the metal threads or anything. It worked great for me. I considered not using the black bolt underneath the knob but decided to anyways. I wish it wasnt black. Did you geti it from PW JDM? You should get a broadway mirror and a squash scented Air Spencer air freshner. Nice touches IMO
