Re: oil pan liquid gasket DIY?? help

take off header/downpipe
take off lower cross brace
take off flywheel cover
take off oil pan
clean as thoroughly as possible to remove excess gunk w/ a razor and rubbing alcohol
apply liquid gasket
reinstall in reverse process

yes... this is very important...

as for a torque sequence i just do like a x pattern... and then once there all finger tight go back throw and tighten little bit by little bit... but it would be a good thing to glob it on, but also making sure its even... ive done it 2 times and both times it came out good for me...

good luck.
