oil pressure light.

i have a problem with my oil pressure light sporadically turning on.
anybody else have this problem? i've checked my oil and its fine.
what could be the problem?

the pressure switch itself can be going bad, I would say make sure that you have enough oil though.

or the wire on the back of the switch may simply be coming loose.

where is this wire? my light goes on when i get to a light and goes away after i rev it. oil level is good

on the back of the motor, right next to your oil filter (i think to the left of it) you'll see a small rubber boot that's protecting the wires going into the pressure switch. it will be right under that boot.
