actually guys I hate to be "that guy" but the stock flywheel weight is 24 lbs.

When I got my aftermarket flywheel it weighed 11.5 lbs. which was less then half of the stock weight

Hmmm...I weighed my Base model one and it was 24 lbs....

I'l check to see if the flywheel is a different part number at work, maybe the SH model is different and weighs less..?

i'm rockin the 8lb, and i'm starting to get tired of it. only in bumper-to-bumper traffic tho.

if i can find a 12lb by the time i need a new clutch i'll swap that in there

Its verry light, in first gear if u take your foot off the gas fully u nose dive. Too light so the engine stops itself faster.

Not when you have a chick in the car and she thinks you a horrible driver the cause the thing is bucking like a bronco (happened). And it also gets annoying after a while lol. Only people with superlight flywheels can understand when they daily it all the time.

Why does this matter? Lighter = better accel but worse driveability. Heavier = slower accel but better driveability. And nobody goes by the clutch weight, its mostly about the flyhweel.

no, the clutch isn't really 15lb's. the clutch itself usually weighs about 2-3lbs, tops.

your forgetting about the pressure plate tho

uhh yea i forgot to say pressure plate and clutch together, but if the clutch disc only weighs 2-3lbs does that mean the ps plate weighs 12-13lbs? huh... i guess that makes since... but i know the flywheel out off my jeep was 38lbs and the pressure plate was at least 25lbs. and i wondered why it was so slow... especially with a 3spd..
