Here's some good snow for ya! Couple months and it should be back again... I may suck at snowboarding but I still know where the good stuff is at.

1. does it look awkward? that's an opinion question. i like them
2. How do you install it? pretty easy. install and tighten towers onto rails @ distance given in instructions, place on top of car, insert Q-clips (for yakima only, idk how thules work) tighten towers. done.
2.1 Are you able to take it on and off? yup. installed mine in 10 minutes in 20 degree weather. comes off even faster.
3. Whats a reasonable price? for ONLY the towers, rails, and Q-clips (u need diff q-clips for diff cars) expect to pay about $200. that's not including the fairing, or any snowboard/bike attachments.
4. Whos selling one for a 5th gen? they're universal. you just need to buy diff q-clips. you also gotta make sure the rails are the right length.

if ur gonna be carrying bikes (and i think kayaks) then i'm pretty sure you'll need the extension kit. for only skis/snowboards, you won't (i don't).

i'll try to get moar pix of mine soon.

Re: snowboard roof rack?

Word, I'll have to see if my brother will hook me up with his, since he totalled his 04 RSX type S. He totalled his 02 about three years ago. This time an old man (72) took him out. The man lost his licence but my brother lost his car. The old man turned right from the left lane on HWY 460 (four lane divided highway speed limit 60) onto his road, no turn signal or anything so when my brother pulled up beside him he just cranked the wheel and side swiped him.
