need help h22a guru's

alright so I messed up big. I was doing my valve lash adjustments and while torquing my brand new torq wrench grenaded and a peice of it went down cylinder number oil passage right hand side back of the head. I tried to fish it with a magnet and I have drained my oil with nothing to show. what are the odds of it being in the oil pan? i have since unbolted the oil pan but the years of rust on the down pipe has made the nuts impossible to break.. the peice that fell is about 1inch and 1/4 inch thick.. please help me out.. its my new h22a7

Soak the bolts in PB Blaster for the time being and see if that does any good.

Hey bro sorry your in a pickle if you don't want to take the head off this is an idea take a strong rope and tie a magnet to it , and try to fish it threw the oil galley also try to fish it together with a piece of wire ,they have flexible magnets this might help with your problem .This sucks because you don't know witch way the piece fell in .One More idea is a strong vacuum with a small nozzle .Hope this gives you an idea.
