Behind stock radio/store bought radio quick question.

hey just wondering if anything is suppose to be behind the stock radio when u take it out. because when i bought my sh it had no stock stereo so im wondering if theres suppose to be some metal brackets or anything so i can put a different stereo in there. basically theres nothing behind it at the moment i can just see the wire harness and stuff so let me know if theres any brackets so i can buy it to install my stereo. thank you. if you have pics it would help alot so i can see what i need. thanks again

I don't know. I honestly can't help you haha. when I got mine it was just the stock radio connected to the little storage thing underneath it. now i just have my alpine resting on the storage thing. nothings bolted in at all

Re: Behind stock radio/store bought radio quick question.

The stock radio has a bracket screwed into each side of it that screws into the dash behind the bezel. Each side of the big hole where the stock radio would be there are two small screw holes - that's where they go.
