Finally Got a Pair of Foggies

I finally got a pair of foggies!
I know they're not JDM, but for the longest time i've been wanting to fill the two voids filled up by those false vents underneath my signal lights, and i just wanted some JDM-looking fogs on them---whether they were real JDM or not weren't really a priority for me. I'm still pretty psyched though!
I'm gonna install them soon.

Re: Finally Got a Pair of Foggies

I heard HID's emit less heat than standard bulbs so I don't see how the HID's would melt the housing and the standards bulbs wouldn't.

Re: Finally Got a Pair of Foggies

Yeah the initial version with the wiring harness that uses the pre installed orange cable comes with 35W bulbs. 35W HID's and I guess it should be fine.

The newer version with the weird wiring harness and replacement button area so you can keep your dimmer is 55W so shouldn't melt any time soon.

Hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like the 35W version to me.

55W version also comes with shields over the bulbs like the proper JDM ones.

From what I've read around the net the second version is the way to go!

Yeah that's what i'm hoping for with these. I just didn't find any sense in shelling out 10x the amount that i paid for these just to say they were "JDM" even though they look pretty identical to me. But to each his own!

There's no real use in saying that after the fact, especially in retrospect after i have already gotten my foggies.

On another note, I'll post pics after i install them.

a little more research and you would have found that the v2.0 foggies are proven to be better and even come with h3c bulbs .... just stating my opinion !
