so hes a machine? No one is a master unless they can weld like a machine ^_^ I like using oxy/acetylene torches dont worry about grounding anything or electrical failure...

the piping from the cat back might not work, but you can easily have a muffler shop make new piping

if you want it that bad, just have a shop make custom piping to fit the muffler

Agreed: Google "custom exhaust" or "custom muffler" in your area and see what pops up

I am going to have to add, more than likely it will
not sound the same on your Lude as is did on
the Accord. Just throwing that out there. it might
sound nice on his, but when you start changing
the bends, and length to fit the Lude, it is going
to have a totally different sound.

Good luck anyways,

Re: 1999 accord coupe exhaust fitting a 2001 prelude?

so far thanks guys. jay ty for the addition. basicly i thought the bodys are very alike but maybe im wrong. a buddy told me a while back that accords and preludes have the same chassis and underbody design but maybe i listened to the wrong guy lol. anyways my brother is a well experienced welder basicly can weld anything. last question if i dont think of another. are the bends most likly the same maybe just different length dimentions? becausr then its gonna be easy for us to cut then extend or shorten parts....

basicly its a free exhaust that i know sounded great on a accord. cant hurt to make it fit and see from there.
