prelude front bumper question.

okay wel i have a aftermarket bumper. i believe its the mugen one and is made of fiber glass. okay now this bumper is starting to show LOTS of cracks like everywhere. the whole bumper is being held by 2 screws (1 on left and 1 on right). now ibougt a bumper thats already painted pearl white butit might be slightly different but i took the chance so i bought it for 120. its in almost mint condition. now what im wondering is if its possible to fix all those cracks, and fix a BIG Crack where one of the screws are. i was planning to put on the stock bumper that i bought but then i'd have to go paint my fiber glass wwrs lip. soi dont know what to do.

i love the mugen bumper but this fibreglass **** is a bitch. im a lot better driver now so i wont hit the bumper nomore and cause it to crack. what should i do?

oh and does anybody know how much i can sell my oem bumper for? i have one thats in like mint condition painted pearl white, and another oem bumper but that NEEDS to be painted.

so should i go and fix the fiberglass mugen bumper, or put on the stock bumper and get my wwrs lip painted? and how much could i sell these bumpers for?

and one more thing... about fog lights. if i was to buy those cheap ebay fog lights for 100 dollars, would it look nice on my 5th gen lude? cuz i have HIDS on, would the HIDS over power the fog ligts and wouldnt be able to see the fog lights in the dark? i like to have my fog lights on during the day.

sorry one last thing, i took off my bumper today and i saw no light bulb housing for the side markers. only the plug where the housing is to be plugged in. anyone know where i could get the housing?

thanks a lot every1

Re: prelude front bumper question.

If you want a Mugen front bar, then fibreglass is your only option - even the genuine ones are fibreglass.

If you plan on fixing the Mugen one then why would you spend extra money getting the WWRS lip painted since it's only a temporary fitment?

Re: prelude front bumper question.

Why not check on ebay (or wreckers) and see what they go for in your area? Location and demand is what drives prices for second hand parts.

Re: prelude front bumper question.

if they are only hairline cracks, then you can get it sanded down and refinished. large cracks are repairable as well. i hope its not ONLY held on by the two screws, im hoping al, of the clips are still holding it as well.
