Questions on Lowering my Lude

I got a black 99 with black MSR 044 rims 18 in. I wanted to lower it about 1.5in so it will look straighter. Can I put lowering springs on it without having any clearance problems. (not sure of the offset) And how much do you think a shop will charge to do this with an alignment.

Re: Questions on Lowering my Lude

what size are your rims? a shop is gonna charge u an arm and a leg to install this stuff, just do it yourself and then get the alignment for $50-60

Re: Questions on Lowering my Lude

A 215/35r18 shouldn't cause any issues. At least not with that drop. Get an alignment the second it is done because neo gens wear out hella fast.

Re: Questions on Lowering my Lude

I always hear people sayin that 18's on 35's are ridiculous but its not bad at all. I guess its because they are wrapped in the nitto's and plus I try to aviod all the bumbs I can.

What springs do you guys have and are you happy with them?
