Re: odb1 and odb2 help

Unless you plan on building a ballistic engine combo then there's no advantage to going obd2. If you want to build a fast NA or turbo engine, then yes you should go obd1 to enable you to tune the bugger.

Re: odb1 and odb2 help

OBD1 Keeps the tune, OBD2 loses the tune on the ecu eventually. If you want to tune you HAVE to have OBD1.

Re: odb1 and odb2 help

obd2 to obd1 conversion harness is what you want. you can get it from phearable.net.. very reputable place, thats where i got mine.

then you need an ecu that would work with the harness. many luders go with the p13 (which is from 4th gen h22 ludes) or the p28 (which comes in the 92-95ish civic)

i heard p28 is better for many reasons. You can look it up if you want to.

if i currently have an AFC Neo hooked up to my current OBD2 harness wires to the ecu, will i need to re wire that to the other harness?? or will it like everything else work just fine with the setup, lookin to swap to p28 and OBD1 to tune after i rebuild it next spring. help and knowledge is much appreciated
