Strut Bar

Hey guys. Just tried to install my megan racing strut bar (front upper) and noticed that there are brake lines and wireharnesses in the way. I drive a 2001 prelude base. Any ideas on how any of you stalled this type. Ive seen pictures of other guys on this forum install them but im not sure how.

Re: Strut Bar

You move the lines out of the way. Lots of "tree" removal is required, the little things that hold multiple wires together. Once you get a few of those off, it's easy to move the wires aside and install the bar.

Re: Strut Bar

There is a bolt that holds the group of pipes just in front of where you want to install the brace. Take that bolt out and the group of pipes will bend a little, allowing you to get the brace on.

I had the exact same "eh!?" moment when istalling my one as well.
