wire tucks.. what do you think

so i've been checkin out a lot of wire tucks lately,
and i think what im into is maybe cleaning up majority of my bay,
but not hiding all the DD fluids, and going crazy with it.

just make it clean and useful and put my touch to it.

anyone have any pix of wire tucked 5TH Gen Preludes?

Anyone have Opinions on wire tucks?

Re: wire tucks.. what do you think

Personnally i think tucks 'beautify' the engine bay a lot & really gives it that clean look, are you planning on doing it or having a shop hook it up?

i hate shops man. i try and do all my own work, if not have a friend help me.

only reason i would go to a shop, is to get tuned.

Re: wire tucks.. what do you think

without deleting alotta the stuff (AC/PS/CC/EGR/EVAP/etc) wire tucks wouldn't really be too noticeable, cuz there's not alotta visable wires with all that stuff in there.

Re: wire tucks.. what do you think

also look into getting a mil spec harness from somewhere like Rywire. these can be kind of pricey but wow do they make a difference.

you could also relocate your battery to the trunk.

hahaha i was gonna say man.. thats a good example!

i've seen chase bays and ish. so extreme. either people are fully stock, or all show tucked.

from what i see nowadays, everyone has flashy VC's with a fully tucked bay, chromed out headers, etc etc etc. seen it, done it.

i want to see some deletion of clutter in a bay, but a maintained DD, set up, get rid of some wiring, maybe even fab. a housing similar to a fuse box, so your wires arent just staright up exposed. one of my clusters lost it's grip to the mount and was so close to hitting my TB!! i was like whoa!!!

im ready for some clean stockness.
Take what the JApanese did, and put your touch to it!

Re: wire tucks.. what do you think

while still maintaining a DD, you can delete CC, washer fluid, batt reloc, egr and evap (if you have inspection connections/no emissions), maybe relocate the fusebox, and if your baller, ESP motor mounts and/or traction bar.

so basically your only retaining ABS, AC, and PS haha

i love my car w/o PS, about to take it out completely

i just took an extremely joyous and spirited drive thru my local mtn roads, and you can feel the road sooooo much better w/ no PS.

haha i will agree. when i went on a road trip.. i drove from VA beach->Kansas.

ended going thru WV MTNS. it was quite amazing. you do feel like you have more control over what the tires do. it also made it harder to make mistakes. especially in rain. its resistance made it feel safer almost.

cruise control, EGR and evap are for emissions, and there's write-ups for relocating the batt and fusebox. but you can't relocate washer fluid, gotta delete it. literally just start ripping shiit out
