Stock intake or AEM short ram intake

Ok, so i been reading some good reviews about K & N air filter, so im thinking should i just keep my stock intake and just replace the air filter with a K & N air filter, or should i wait and get a total upgrade to a AEM short ram intake. I heard short rams are sh*tty, is this true? I would get a complete aem intake but i wouldnt want my vehicle hydrolocking. So, replace air filter or short ram? i have a 5th gen prelude. in white :)

Getting a short ram intake is fine although a CAI will boost your HP by a little. But either one wont get you a hydrolock unless you live in a area where your puddles go up to your bumper level and you suck up a huge wad of water!!

But adding a K&N is def a good choice especially when you can save $$ by recharging it every year instead of buying a new filter everytime!!!

custom intake. Buy some piping and make one yourself.
You can locate it anywhere you want.
