idling and speedo problems

So i just got my engine put back into my car. everything is after market skunk 2 and were having problems with the idle and now the speedo. I have the hondata s300 in and was wondering if any of you had to switch out the distributor because were unable to adjust the timing?

Re: idling and speedo problems

You need to be more specific about your problems... as in what is your idle doing and what is your speed doing... it's hard to diagnose a problem over the computer especially when someone does not give enough specifics about their problems..

Re: idling and speedo problems

Is it just the speedometer not working? Or the speedometer and the tachometer and the odometer?

If it was your VSS, none of the above would work... it wouldn't count miles, or rpms, or your speed...

It it's not all of the above, it's most likely the gauge cluster itself.
