Re: door speakers

You may have blown your speakers. also are they your stock speakers? and what you can try doing is see if your getting power to your speakers. Take the end that plugs into your speakers and check to see if you have power running from your deck to the speakers. if you do, your speakers are probably toast. This isnt an expert opinion just mine. good luck

Re: door speakers

if you pull the speakers you can take them to best buy and have them meter them out. they should do it for free as long as they dont have to remove them from your car. It'll take them about a minute total.

you can also find some test speakers and see if they get sound. Are the tweeters working? If not, i am willing to bet your head unit's amp is burned up...or one of your speaker wires is grounded out. The rear speakers have a separate amp so they wouldnt be affected.

Re: door speakers

it's built into the amp for the fronts. The rears have a small external one in the trunk

Re: door speakers

You could also have a short in the boot of the car door. I've seen that happen in a 5th gen before.
