Bumper Absorber

Bought a new oem front bumper and having trouble to get it to fit. When i take out the bumper absorber it fits easily. My question is, is the bumper absorber really needed?

Re: Bumper Absorber

Do you mean the styrofoam things or the actual beam?

Re: Bumper Absorber

Just to make sure we are both talking about the same thing. Is it the shock looking thing that runs across the front bumper beam. If its the same thing I was also wondering about it. I would like to know what happens if its removed.

Re: Bumper Absorber

Yeah you can omit that...

Mine fell out of my rear bumper after my accident last year... I discarded lol.

I thought you meant the actual beam. My answer was gonna be "ummm... yeah you need that".
