KYB AGX on ebay

do these look real?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33590

was planning to order them, but i thought i'd ask first and to see if anyone has heard of the springs since its a 1.3 in drop and that seems weird to me.

think this set up would be comfortable for daily driving?

Re: KYB AGX on ebay

lol I got drunk last night so i figured id stay in tonight, plus im always on throughout the day.

edit: BTW i also have the AGX's with some S-tech springs, and for me the rides a bit bouncy. But i know my springs have softer springs rates im not too sure about the springs coming with the shocks although i have heard good things of them.

i was hoping to find something not to bouncy, but cant you adjust the stiffness of the shock?

Re: KYB AGX on ebay

yep you sure can, but even at 4 they aren't too stiff, which i guess was good for my girl haha. And it also has to do with your spring rates too.

I just looked up the spring rates for the Vogtland springs and on the site it say they're 250 all around. Thats just about where my stechs are, so the shocks set at 4 and these springs you'll have pretty comfy ride, not tooo bouncy, and if you throw in a ST sway bar kit like i did, it'll handle soo good you'll want to nut while you take corners at stupid high speed lol.

It says they were made by the Nazis though so I guess they're good for a while then it cost an arm, leg, 2 pints of blood, and your first born son to fix it if something does break if the engineering of a VW is any indication of their quality and design.

E and Mikey stop scaring the guy lol

Don't be scared the I've done a decent amount of research on those springs and they have a great rep. Plus if it means anything to you, and it should, ac schnitzer contracts Vogtland to make the springs for their BMW kits.

No hes using AGX's, Mike how low where you with them? Just asking cause I know KYB voids the warranty if you drop bellow 1.5".

Plus i used to H&R races(2.2" drop) and now rocking tein s-techs(1.5) and they've been decent for me, not crazy great but decent.

Re: KYB AGX on ebay

Im not that low at all, I think its a combo of the prototype ground controls I have (there one of the first sets made for a lude, they dont even say ground control on them thats how OG they are) and the agx's the spring rate is way to damn soft and the agx's are no were near what they should be.

I hate them with all of my hart. There two soft, they blow out quick (most people I have talked to dont even get more then two years out of them). If I ever go for a shock and spring combo again im going koin+nuespeed
