Clutch Problem

So I went racing the other day and killed my clutch. Well i launched good and went thru 1st shift at about 8k then 2nd again shift at 8k. Then 3rd i cant get out of it. I felt like something ripped when going to 3rd almost not noticeable. So now i can only start driving the car is its in 1st before i start it and cant shift at all because my pedal falls to the ground. And does not go back up. I check the master cycilinder and it started leaking into the car. I changed it. But know i cant get any pressure build up in the system anymore. And it wont move the slave cylinder. With the old one still on it, it moved like a milimeter or too. Now the slave cylinder wont move at all and i bleed like a bottle of brake fluid thru the secondary cylinder. NEED HELP DONT KNOW WAT ELSE CAN BE THE Problem. Also clutch was just changed like 9k ago. car has 170k

Re: Clutch Problem

Sounds like you might want you replace the slave cylinder too. Then bleed the entire system again and make sure there is no air whatsoever in the lines. Note -- air in the master cylinder can be extremely stubborn. I once had to tow my car to a shop to have them use a power bleeder on my clutch system for $20 .

Re: Clutch Problem

So you've replaced the slave cylinder, and the clutch is still stuck to the floor?

Did you have a friend pull the pedal up and down manually while you check the slave cylinder is doing its job?
