Water leaking all over passenger side

It rained pretty hard the other day and i figured my sunroof was leaking but I'm not so sure its that. Just the passenger side had water. Just in the front too. Behind the seat was dry. It just rained again and no new water. It was parked in the same spot. Its a level driveway... What else could leak a gallon of water like that? I've only had the car about a month. It's never leaked before..I took some of the interior apart and nothing above the floor looks wet...

get in the car and have someone spray a hose on the car and see where its leaking from.

Re: Water leaking all over passenger side

no rust really underneath...i'll have to put it on the hoist at work to really look at it. all the seals seem fine. Heater core is ok I'm pretty sure.. I just think its wired because I had an old car with a leaky sunroof and you could tell..there was rust all the way down from the top and stuff was wet...nothing was wet but the rug where the passenger feet go... the drain on the sunroof is open and flows good. i guess its possible that perhaps someone didnt close my door all the way...

I found the leak. It was from whoever installed the security system. They punched a hole in the main wiring harness boot for the speaker under the hood and water just poured in. Sprayed some rubberized undercoating all over to see if that plugs it.

Re: Water leaking all over passenger side

One more update to anyone who may have this problem... I had 3 separate leaks! My tail light gaskets were leaking... From what i've seen its pretty common. Next was some moron who ripped a hole in one of the boots under the hood on the firewall. The third and hopefully final leak I found was one of those little clips right under the windshield was leaking right in to the air intake and filling up the housing where the blower motor goes. I just took it out and plugged the hole with some 3M Windo-weld. Get some. Its good stuff. Anyway that's the final verdict. If anyone has any water in the passenger side... take off your windshield wiper arms, pull off that cover under the hood (be careful) and check the white clip above your fresh air intake.
