Valve cover Color?

Anyone know what the name or code of the 'Red' valve cover color?

My valve cover is gross and a nice red would look good.

I am going to repaint it. Its a black top right now and I think haveing a red top would look nice in the bay on a black car. just wondering if anyone know how or where to get that color for the redtops.

Look here (bottom of the thread, post #25)

I did mine using Duplicolor universal gold
It's not perfect but can give you an idea of how it will look.

The polish idea sounds nice.

Also check the Duplicolor Metalcast line. I think they have what you are looking for. More of a polished look.

Re: Valve cover Color?

If you want the red VC...why not just buy a JDM VC? XD...But painting is a alot cheaper, just remember you don't pay a professional to spray the car, you pay him to pay close attention to the details when prepping his work. So you should to! Paint is ALL in the prep work.
