Why is there corrosion (green stuff) on my ht leads?

Why is there corrosion (green stuff) on my ht leads?

3 out of 4 are corroded and they're at the distribution cap end. They're not even a month old and this has happened. I'm gonna get some new ones but I don't want the same thing to happen to them...
