Hesitation & stalling

Lately when I'm driving that if I'm gasin the car and I'm at around 3000RPM that as soon as I let go of the gas pedal that it immediatly drops to near 2000RPM. Also when i'm coming to a complete stop at a red light that the RPM drops to near 0RPM that the car begins to shake and a few times actually stall out.

A few have told me that it could be due to the IAC crapping out on me and that Hondas are known for that to go out.

I just want to confirm as to if it's definitly the IAC going on me so that I'll know to replace that and not waste money on replacing a part that isn't broken.

Opinions,advice and input is needed and appreciated!!!

same thing happen to my boys integra it stalls out, put a new idle air control valve and solve the problem no more shutting off or stalling..hope its just that bro

holy **** i have the exact problem but i didnt make a post. my car starts up fine then after it warms up and i come up to a stop sign a press the clutch in the rpms drop to almost 0 too and it shake and sometimes it stalls. does yours sound like its sputtering or misfiring and do you have a CEL? yo go here and register with your cars VIN https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login....d%5Fhome%2Easp and it will let you know of recalls cuz mine had an ignition switch recall and it tells you the symptoms and that is what is going on with my car so they are replacing my **** friday i made an appointment online

I'm throwing a CEL bc of Bustr customizing a EGR block off!!!

But other then that I'm good. I jus need to save up on that seeing as how I'm broke as FUKK!!!

as far as the ignition switch ...yea it is a honda recall for our cars...but i think for only autos. now chimp... do you not remember we sanded the contacts in on your cap and rotor... you need to change that. not to mention.... i told you to read the posts on the egr block off. just bolt your egr back on to the plate peice i made.... hook that vac line up. then start the car... you shouldnt throw a cel but i may be wrong......


and jose... i m pretty sure its your ignitor. its actually what controls your ignition inside your distributor. they are know to go bad.... dude we checked everything except that.

yea true could we check that? and i called the dealer and asked if my car was under the recall and he said yea and to take it in to get fixed

wow.... nice. but when i did my ignition switch recall ... it wasnt doing what yours is doing. mine basically would... be running and then all of a sudden die while driving.....but then i would just turn the key back to the on position and would turn on again.

Oh no Bustr...I know the CEL is due to the EGR block off and I'm fine with that now either or bc I'm lazy to put it back to normal!!!

But yea...Ima try to get a new dizzy when I can, but for now I gotta try to get that IAC changed bc my nearby mech checked it out and it was due to that going. It's the orig one and nobody so far is selling it seeing as how its part of the engine.

So I'm prob gonna go get a new one from my uncle's shop for bout $200 and him and I can change it ourselves.

When I change the IAC. Other then the part itself I jus need 1-2 bottles of coolant bc it's going to leak some out when I swap the part right?!?!

Jus asking bc I really wanna learn and do it myself when I have the part.
