Re: anyone install wood/carbon fiber trim?
the radio bezel is a new piece of plastic that you put in in place of the old piece. but for the center console part, all you do is clean it up, and instead of a brand new piece of plastic, they give you a wood pattern looking thing with adhesive backing. and all you do is cover the center console piece with it

Re: anyone install wood/carbon fiber trim?
ya it does look that way, but sadly it's not, which sucks. if you look at the link I posted, it says under parts list, console cover. and everything else is a new panel

Re: anyone install wood/carbon fiber trim?

THE CENTER CONSOLE PIECE ADHERES TO YOUR EXISTING PANELS SO INSTALLATIONS IS QUICK AND EASY.

Re: anyone install wood/carbon fiber trim?
I did the carbon. The center is stick on but I havent had any problems with it unsticking or anything like that in about 2 and a half months.( when I installed it). The drivers side thing can be annoying because of the mirror/window switches...just a bitch to get to...
heres a picture of my console/radio: ![]() My new setup! soo much better... and for the radio bezel you will need 2 flathead screwdrivers to pry with...Heres a small diagram for ya. ![]() Old setup...I liked it but new is sooo much better... Start on the pass. side and pry at the bottom two red points I marked. Next take your screwdriver on the bottom and slide it over to the other point and then slide your other screwdriver into place. If you just take your screwdrivers out it will probably just pop into place, thats why I say slide....just do what works for you...anyways, once you have the two bottom pop clips off just pull from the bottom with your hands. If this is the first time taking it off most likely its going to be a little hard, especially the top clips, just fanagle with it. its not bad at all... Hope that helps =/

Re: anyone install wood/carbon fiber trim?
nope. to get the door inserts though you do have to take off the door panel. its more of a pita rather than difficult. if you know what I mean...
