sunroof help!!!

ok so i tried to put up the sunroof today and what i got was my sunroof barely budging about a inch. All it does is begin to work its wasy up and it stops before it starts to go back. and a couple days ago it was working. im stumped.

honestly mine did the same thing like 2 years ago....
hasnt done it since haha...

just make sure the track is lubed up correctly amd you should be fine man

Yeah mine was doing the same thing. I guess its a common problem.

I took off the glass piece (you dont have to do that, but you can clean it and grease it better that way), cleaned everything really well, and then sprayed white lithium grease on all the moving parts. It works great now.

I hope that works for you or else you have a bigger problem.

White Lithium grease works wonders on my sunroof rails, x2 on using this product

i know after it rains mine gets a bit stuck but eventually goes back, def when i push on it just a bit

This is the guide that I followed. This was posted by another person on another site.

You can remove the moonroof glass by removing two plastic strips from the underside, one on either side of the moonroof glass. There is a little plastic cap on each one that needs to get popped off, revealing a phillips screw.
Then remove the 8 bolts holding the glass to the tracks.
Then the glass comes off and you have plenty of room to clean the tracks and relube with lithium grease.
