Hhahahah girl after my own heart! I dropped kicked my keys once (not on purpose, I am just awesome that way), I took it in to Honda and the guy said something just came loose inside it and fixed it for free.

did you check your fuses. if the clock/radio fuse blows the power door locks dont work without the ignition on. see if your power door locks work when the key is not on.

Re: key less remote and angry wife.. fail

What type of alarm?

If you replaced the batteries you may have to re-synch the alarm brain to the remote.

Or, the remote could be damaged beyond working???

please help, similar problem:
intermittently the keyfob does not unlock the doors.
intermittently the wife is angry.

I replaced the battery, which I dont think was dead, it had 3.08 V
the new one was only 3.20V

doors and wife are still intermittently ok.

oh yeah I should mention the car is 2001 Prelude, the wife is.. aw well never mind. not that new if you know what I mean. both are in good shape:)
anyway back to the problem. if I fuss around, bend up the prongs that touch the battery it may work a couple of times, and then I think its ok. then she goes to work and my problems start all over again.
Can I take it apart and see if the solder joints are loose? Do you think I should have 3.5V??
thanks
BV

oh yeah the little red light comes on when I try to unlock the doors, but no unlock happens.
