Short shifter

I was think of getting a short shifter for my car does anyone have a opinion on this like s few pros and cons. And maybe a good brand or two and Im not concerned about money and also has mugen ever made this for the fifth gen?

Yeah pspec is hands down the best one to get if your ok with spending $200.

Problem being that forbidden don't make a 5th gen one yet. 4th gen ones can be modified to fit though.

as tempting as it is... I would suggest staying away from the 'adapter' style kits. ($25-$50 ex: obx,neuspeed,ebay brands) I bought one and still have it installed... but the difference it made was neglectable. I dont even notice it's there anymore and have considered removing it, but have just been too lazy.

Like everyone else has said pspec is the way to go. Its by far one of those 'you get what you pay for' deals. Yes, you can pay $25 bucks and shorten your shift travel by 3/4" of an inch or so, but there is no height or travel adjustability.

I fitted a Neuspeed adaptor to a mate's car a little over a year ago. I thought the difference was noticable, the owner absolutely loved it. Still going strong, though as you said, you only get what you pay for.
