Icon5 Edelbrock Cam Gear Question

Alright so I was looking around on horsepowerfreaks.com and noticed a few options for cam gears, Fidenza, Crower, AEM, ect and noticed Edelbrock. Since there was no reviews on such product via the site, I was wondering if any of you had any thoughts with Edelbrock. I notice they use a different aluminum then some of the others listed on the site and don't really know the difference between 6160 billet and 7075 billet (the material that Edelbrock uses). I know most of you are going to say just stick with something cheaper or along those lines but I really just want to know your thoughts on Edelbrock products in the sports compact world.

p.s. If this question sounds a little confusing lemme know I'll try and re-word it, sometimes questions sound better in my head then others.

Re: Edelbrock Cam Gear Question

installing cam gears on a stock head and valvetrain is useless, you won't see any difference or gains. they're mostly for show unless you have serious dime dumped into your engine.
