Help with turn signals.

Hey there, this morning I noticed my turn signals weren't working and neither were my hazzards. I get to work an check the bulbs, all is good. So I check the fuse, and it was burned out so I replaced it. I then checked them out, left turn signal working fine, but when i clicked to right or used hazzards it was very very weak and there was a burning smell coming from the area of my switches(cruise control, mood roof, etc...) I opened it up and can not see anything. The fuse I replaced was located in the engine bay. Anyone here have any suggestions? Before I end up calling up a shop? Thanks in advance and sorry for the long read.

Re: Help with turn signals.

possibly something shorted or a chaffed wire. start checking for continuity. if you're not well versed in electricity i wouldn't even bother trying. take it to someone. electric work is often pretty expensive due to the extensive troubleshooting involved.

Re: Help with turn signals.

by foglights I meant do you have anything in that part of the dash that might have a switch that was added? Looking for wiring under that part of the dash that might look out of place (like not factory)

This might help hang on

http://www.handa-accessories.com/pre...efoglights.pdf

Look thru page 4 thru 7, those diagrams might help that is the way wiring should be done.

While you are under there try to get close and sniff for a electrical burn smell, also look for wiring that looks fried, the plastic around the copper wire will look melted. Good luck
