Icon7 Cheeky service request

I know this is very cheeky of me but I have a full service coming up on Friday and I'm to get all the parts [works out cheaper for me with that deal] but have no time to research what would be best. I'd do the service myself but its the first one since i baught the car and I'd like a thorough check of everything which is much easier with a ramp

I've been getting immense pressure at work regarding a job deadline that were struggling to meet due to management not getting resources/labour that is needed and due to that I don't have a lot of time to search around for the best products for my prelude, and so I'm asking anyone on PZ who has experience with 5th gen Preludes to reply to this thread regarding which product to buy for full service, plugs, oil filter etc.

Spec:
5th Gen [1998] Prelude SE 2.0 Manual
Standard engine wise.

I'm not normaly this cheeky I promise, i'm just pushed

Any input would largely appreciated

Re: Cheeky service request

The engine - F20.

What milage? Tha'ts what will dictate the level of service. Oil and filter are a given, I change them every 5000km, though everything else varies. Plugs and leads might not be required yet. There's a certain point where the timing belt must be replaced, but I forget what that is in miles (its 100,000km) and I imagine that the valve clearences would need to be adjusted every so often.

Re: Cheeky service request

NGK iridium plugs/wires, 5W-30 oil, doesn't matter what brand for that low of mileage on your engine IMO. I run with Castrol generally, or a high mileage oil. But my lude has 120K on the clock. Any other products you need?

I run 10w-40 in my H22.
Granted mine isn't all stock when it comes to internals...
But it's not going to harm a stock engine in any way. I say good choice on your part.
