Another Tranny Question

I know I posted something in the new member section saying I haven't gotten my 5g Lude that I want yet. But until then I'm asking a ton of question.

I was wondering if I could swap a 5spd M/T for a 6spd M/T on a 5g lude. I love 6speed trans in the RSX type-s but I don't think those two transmissions would work.

If Possible what would I need? Or what sites can I check out for more information?

Thank you in advance. I've got another question to ask but I'll see if it's posted first so I'm not digging up old post.

Re: Another Tranny Question

RSX Trans won't work. It's mounted on opposite side of Ludes More than likley your soon to be Lude will be able to beat a RSX type S, there 6 gear is waste

Re: Another Tranny Question

Don't believe so. As far as I know there are no H2K adapter plates or anything.

Re: Another Tranny Question

actually the rsx-s beats us easily.

we engage vtec earlier but they have a more healthier motor and more robust.

i believe there like 20 pounds or so lighter.

other then that...5spd is fine..

Re: Another Tranny Question

Don't they make like 2 less bhp, but like 20 more lbs-ft of torque?
