Jdm h22a speed cut

Guys,
Do you have any idea how to remove/disable the speed governor on Jdm motor. What I have is the Type S H22a and it cut off at about 115-118mph. So far I found boxer2 safc and the Greddy sd may work but wanna know if anyone actually have experience in this field. Ty

Re: Jdm h22a speed cut

that low of a speed cut is definately a JDM ecu, or a CEL is causing a low redline
SAFC will not remove the speed gov. A Apex'i Rev/Speed Meter MIGHT, but u'd have to check up on that. I'm not sure whether or not the Greddy will

Obviously you don't own a H22a or not read up on them.

Fact of the matter is not where but when. I thought we want to soup up our car to improve speed and drivability to maximize it protential. If you soup up your can and then drive like a granny then I got nothing to say.

I don't disagree with the first part of your statement. However I have lost enough friends in street accidents (in one case the crash wasn't his fault, he just happened through a green light intersection while two people raced through the red; and they both lived) to have learned that while we all like to drive fast, the street is not the place to do it. Sure, you can go and drive as fast as you want on a track, but how many people actually do? I'm willing to bet the number would be lower than 5%. And if the typical 5th gen Prelude owner over your side of the world is anything like the typical owner on this side, then they probably wouldn't even be able to name their local track, let alone have had their car on it.

So if you spend all your time and money souping up your car so it goes faster, great. If you plan on driving well above 112mph on the road, then I got nothing to say.

We all have lost friends on the street cuz of someone else fault. My question is about the 115mph speed cut and I don't know how it got to the intersection where you have lost your friend. I got your point bro cuz I've lost my friends that way too.......but I don't see why I've got to hear this. You don't know me and I already have to get the spills. Let not getting to a pissing contest and sticking with my post.

This isn't a pissing contest. I asked a question, and you quite cleverly sidestepped it and made a rant of a post that went round and round in circles, without actually answering it.

Slang for "bro" or "brother." Other examples: Brosef Stalin, Brohan Santana, "Don't Mess with the Brohan."

What the **** is your question? I'm asking the question about speed cut and all I'm getting from you is how speed get your friends killed. While everyone else answer my specific question. Thank you all.

Re: Jdm h22a speed cut

There is no governor. It's in the ECU. You need a USDM P13, or get a P28/P72/Other Standalone and get a tune. Answered.

Edit: Misread your last post. My bad.
