definitely cold air intake. Our motors are naturally aspirated which also means a cold aire intake is better for slightly more power. U dont have to worry about hydrolock unless u drive into a puddle thats halfway up your door panel and bypass valves are a waste and negates the purpose of a CAI. if u have the fileter halfway submerged in water and the other half dry you wont hydrolock. the only time u will is wen u completely submerge the filter in wate..ive driven through puddles and water that was above curb height with no problems..get a cold air youll be happier with it especially during the summer time.
