Got a Door Like Problem

Alright so my driver side power door lock will only lock and unlock the passenger door lock. It does not control the driver side lock. So I have to lock and unlock on the inside manually. What do you guys think this could be? I was looking at getting an alarm system with keyless but I need to get this fixed first. Could it be a lock actuator?
Thanks

Possible lock switch, or maybe the lock actuator. Pop the door panel off leave the switch plugged in and see if it moves, or makes a noise. Let me know.

pull the chiltons manual in the resources thread, d/l it, and follow the trouvbleshooting steps... you WILL need a DMM and possibly a test light to ground out the circuit.
