well when i bought my lude 10 months ago i took her to a carwash not an auto one but one where u wash it ureself after washing it i started spraying the bonet and bang a massive chip of clearcoat comes off i didnt even think that it was sundamage till recently because now its spreading all up near the roof and crap i looks like my lude has lepracy its f**king horrable .... this is australian climate i tihnk they use a different clearcoat to people in states cuz of the climate difference obviously .....whats going on ....can i stop it....plz help

I don't think you can stop it. You'll just have to get it repainted.

No but seriously, your gonna have to get it repainted. I live in Florida and have no garage, sh!t hasn't happened to my lude yet but it will. Best advice I can give from a person who lives in the sunshine state is to wash and wax that baby religiously. Well I guess depending on the wax you can skip waxing a few months, that's up to you. Or you could always buy one of them fancy car covers. I'm too lazy for that sh!t though...oh well

Or you could blow up the sun... sorry wanted an excuse to use that smile...

Seriously mate, the only way to get rid of it is to sand back the clearcoat and apply a new one. Until then it will just need to be looked after really well so to not get any worse. Keep it clean and polished, possibly even with a paint protectant (I reccommend Tough Seal)
