5th gen gauge cluster led change

Can someone explain to me how the twist n lock bases work for this?

i feel like I am going to break something pushing the led into there.

You just push the LED down in there, it'll take a little force, but you won't break anything. The just do as it says, the whole new apparatus just goes in, and twist it to make it stay.

Re: 5th gen gauge cluster led change

if you want a great result, use LED strips. Here's a link to a gauge cluster I finished last week

Re: 5th gen gauge cluster led change

yea, you can use any color you'd like. The whole process usually takes me about 2 hours or so from taking it apart, scrapping all the stuff from behind each number and a few dashes in between, and then putting it all back together. It does take some time and PATIENCE. If anyone is interested, just PM me and we can set something up. I don't mind offering my services to do this for others
