Icon5 Question About H22A4 Engine!

My friend has an H22A4 engine (says so right on the block), but it's got a red top. I thought the H22A4 was supposed to have a black top. As far as I know the only red top is in the H22A8 engine. Why is this the case? Can he put the headers for the H22A on it?

spray paint can do wonders

yes, i'm pretty sure headers for an H22 can fit EVERY H22, if i'm not mistaken.

Re: Question About H22A4 Engine!

why would he want to switch headers with the stock a4 vs the stock a?

won't make a difference.

Re: Question About H22A4 Engine!

yeah, its an SH, but the atts HAS been removed. i was already 99% sure the headers would fit, but it never hurts to be completely sure. appreciate the responses.
