Re: Short Shifter Adapter Help

not a weapon R one, but I installed a Neuspeed one ona friends' car, and it was simple. Remove teh centre console (all the screws are located on the side of the tunnel, most wher eyou will have trouble getting at them...) and once its off you can see wher eyou need to put everything. Start by unbolting the shifter linkage from tthe shifter, sit the adaptor on where the linkage used to go to, and go from there.

You'll work it out mate, it's not hard.

Re: Short Shifter Adapter Help

as long as the shift cable is tension'd inside the adapter the cable will move with the shifter does.

My ebay ("Forum") short shifter adapter made my 5th gear grinds go away. It goes into every single gear without an issue. All ur doing is changing the mounting location, and shortening the throw by relocating the mounting point at a different angle.

3rd gear messed up...sounds like ur racing and slamming 3rd alot. Heck...if u can't find it, grind it
