NEW LUDE.. Any Suggestions?

Hey guys just got a 1998 pearl white lude. The only unfortunate part of this is that its trip/auto. I'd like to do a 5spd swap and tune the car a bit. Basically I'm new to this whole thing. Its not for racing but I'd like to take it to some of the track days we have here in toronto. Any suggestions on where to start? and where to get the parts in Ontario. thanks guys all the best.

Intake, exhaust cat back or 2.5in custom, a good header will run you about 800$ thats it for bolt-ons. if you do the 5speed swap get a 8lb flywheel that will improve engine response quite a bit. My advice is to order complete jdm h22 with LSD and build the block before you do a swap. sleeve it, forged pistons, rods then build the head. cams, ajustable cam gears, new valves and retainers and springs. euro r intake mani and port matched throttle body. Also mild port and polish on the head.biggest thing though is a tuneable ecu like a hondata s300, then have everything tuned cannot express this enough get it tuned. Building it before you drop it in would prepare you for turbo later if you want or you'll already have a decent na build

^ i dont he looking for power but mainly a little bit more response.nas hesaid its not for power but would like to go to the track every now and then!

i would first start with the 5 speed conversion, then decide what you wanna do. im surprised i havent seen twokexv6coupe post here yet!

he will tell you theres three choices unfortunetly we only can have two at a time:

cheap
fast
reliable
