Brake light comes on

When ever i floor it in 1st gear my brake light comes on at around 6k and someties 5k rpm.Cant figure out why.Any one else had or has the same problem?and what could that be?Thanks

Check your brake fluid. Might be low. As you "floor it" the fluid might go under the sensor. It happen to me one time when I was making a "hard" u-turn. LOL

my brake fluid is right above word "MIN" is that low? also why would it be low?thanks

Fill it up and see if that works, If it's just over MIN when you gunned it the fluid might shift under the sensor. Try filling it up.

^this guy pretty much said it.
doesn't matter if its above the min line. it could be a few MM under the full line and it will still come on. the sensor is very sensitive. you loose fluid as your brakes wear. not really loosing per say, just the piston gets pushed out further and further leaving more room for fluid to go. just fill the fluid and try it out.

by the way this is now locked. we had like 12 threads very similar to this over the winter. SEARCH.
