interior lights and gauge lights dont work?>?

ok i tried searching it and i couldnt find anything. i know you guys give people a hard time about not searching but i tried. I installed two auto meter gauges a voltmeter and an oil pressure gauge. i went for a drive and it was getting dark so i flipped on my dash lights and everything went on. but then about 1 minute later bam interior lights off. gauges and speedo the whole deal. now the volt meter is still reading 14 volts and the dome light works. i checked the 15 amp fuse its not blown so what could this be????

It could be the passenger side multiplex control unit, happend on my car after the shop messed up on the wiring harness. What could have happen is the unit that controls the brightness in the control unit, when it gets to much power it frys. Did you smell burned electronics? It's a very distinctive smell. Check the control unit first if it is fried it means you have a short in the wiring and need to order a new control unit 200$ from honda

Was the 15 amp fuse you checked the "tail light" fuse in the interior fuse box?

Check the inside fuse box, under the dash. Check 15A "Tail Light" Fuse. That could be blown out which causes no lights inside.

Hey i just checked the fuse. its burnt. im just wondering though why it burnt out.. is it because i uses cheap 20 guage wire into the 14 gauge on the auto meter. i dunno. if that is the reason ill just take out the 20 gauge and throw in some 14.
