Why do you want it if you didn't even know what it was?

Lemme get thsi straight......
You want something you have no idea what it is,
for looks over its proper purpose?

I can see the irony in this....
It is like looking at a dictionary, yet not knowing how to read.

Good luck on your quest.

Re: What type of bar is this?

this is 100% something you do not need. well not yet if you plan on racing. you should spend your money more wisely. get something that'll add some ponies.

Re: What type of bar is this?

I have one and I would not reccomend it unless you already have a lot of suspension work done and you plan on doing auto cross or something.

You will also either have to leave your panel off of the car or do a little custom cutting to it for it to go on with the bar in place.... at least on a 4th gen but I would not doubt the same problem would be ran into on the 5th gen.

But it is your car so go for it if thats what you want. But really it's pointless unless you are doing what I said and have a good suspension set up already... but no offence I'm going to guess you don't since you didn't know what it was. So start out with some springs and struts first then go on to other things... look around the forum you should figure it out.

I'm pretty sure every single 5th gen prelude every made had a 3 point harness buddy.

But, now I'm going to clear this up since nobody decided to comment on it? "4 point harness," which has two straps that anchor somewhere in the back and two that wrap around the waist is what you're probably talking about. There is also a 5 point harness which has a strap come up from the floor to your crotch and so on...

No, these harnesses do not connect to the C Pillar bar, you are supposed to either buy a harness bar or run the harnesses down to the rear seats at a correct angle in order to be effective.

Here is a picture for reference of my car, please note I do not have harnesses installed but the Sparco Harness bar is the first bar running across the B Pillars and the C-Pillar bar is running across, well, you know:

Re: What type of bar is this?

Now my question to you is, where did you get that picture from? There are two things in it that would catch my eye more than the C-Pillar Bar, the first is the JDM rear-windshield wiper (and squirter located on the roof) and the second is the uber-uber-uber rare rear window glass that came OEM (JDM) with "PRELUDE" lettering inside/outside of it. That is teh sexors!
