Whats next

i have a 97 and i have a off brand cat-back and a cold air intake on it now and i was wondering what i should do next... im looking at DC ceramics and a tradesonics high flow cat. i know the headers are a good choice and i dont want to spend a ton of money on everything but i know i get what i pay for.

i was also going to get some engine paint and paint my valve cover and calipers ... any tips on that?

any easy upgrades that some engine knowledge is required but nothing major.

thanks

Okay I underlined the point I wanted to get across you don't want to spend a ton of money but you want a DC ceramic header?

I don't think that is possible

I like my eBay header, I thought I would give it a try wouldn't hurt only $60 shipped. Well I thought for sure that sucker would have been repalced by now. Like the welds would have cracked or worse. Well it hasn't and it is holding up really well. I would like to find a set up like mine but with a $$$$ header and see the difference I bet none.

Re: Whats next

yeah i know the DC's are $$$ but i heard they are good and i dont want to have to spend money on cheap things haveing a 50/50 chance they are gonna last...

i know i kinda contradicted my self there but i just dont want to risk buying crap and try to replace it with something that is $$ but good and end-up being out more money than i original wanted to spend ...

Re: Whats next

Keep the stock header. DC is crap. Megan is crap. They are all crap. The only aftermarket headers that aren't crap cost upwards of $800. Search.

http://preludezone.com/showthread.php?t=15627

Get some brake cleaner and a wire brush for the calipers before painting them. I believe there's a write-up on here about how to do that.
There's also a few on valve cover painting.
