New Lude owner.....Need some opinions

I just bought my 98 Prelude Base with H22A swap 5 speed. I love it! I need some opinions I like how it looks with the lip black because it goes with the carbon fiber hood but I kind of want to buy the OEM lip kit and paint it the same color as the car I think it would look great. Plus I pick up 17" TSW's black with the machined lip in 2 weeks.

It has H22A done 7 months ago have all paper work
Tein suspension
has a cracked tailight so I'm buying Type S tails tomorrow

entire car is practically mint and i got it at a super deal! 4500 because I know the guy and he is set on a 2000 e46 coupe (auto) :noidea:

They only sad part is I had to sell my CRX because I don't have space for two cars. Here are some pics enjoy. Sorry for the long .

My old REX

Re: New Lude owner.....Need some opinions

wow thats an awesome pickup. 5G's are gettin dirrttt cheap nowadays.

but i'm pretty sure that IS the oem front lip. someone w/ a 5G can confirm. i say paint the lip regardless. and the VC too, no teal blue

looks like the previous owner also painted the headlight housings black, looks goooood

Yeah it's the OEM front lip but I want to get the Side skirts and rear as well before I send out to paint. The color is Satin Silver I believe? The Headlights he bought the black housing lights from DEPO I have all receipts he really kept up on all maintenance and paper work. And thanks for the comment. I also want to get my valve cover done red and sand down the blue on the V2 intake and paint it black again.

Re: New Lude owner.....Need some opinions

No it's not a replica. I have the receipt from HANDA (I believe it stands for Honda and Acura Accessories?) complete with instructions and pics of how to install it straight from Honda. Thanks for the link!

They're the same.
On difference is the sidemarker on the corner which you can take bulb out and have the same thing.
The Type S label slapped on is just a way to get people to blow extra money on essentially the same tail lights they can get at a junk yard for a fraction of the cost.
