5th gen engine compatibility

hey all

so I started work on my lude yesterday, I was very surprised that it was able to start, idle and drive on to the trailer with an ear deafening knock. Snaped rod? any thoughts on what it might be? i have been looking into rebuilding but I am unsure still some people say its hard and some say its easy, i found this DVD on ebay...... any thoughts

most people say just do the swap

so i have been looking at h22 the best prices i've found are at and any one have any experience with them or any comments ?

but I just want a daily driver so i was wondering what other engine's would fit in my 5th gen

Oh if i do the swap anyone intrested in the motor?
