Alternator Problem

i have a 99 prelude type sh and my alternator is dead so i changed it today first one i put it in i can start my car but when i disconnect the battery my car dies so i thought the alternator was ****ed up also so i returned the 1st one and ordered 2nd one and installed that one and i disconnected the battery again and my car died again so i was thinking maybe i was bad luck so i returned the 2nd one and got a 3rd one and installed it and i still dies on no matter how many altenator i change my change dies when ever i disconnect the battery so i tested the battery when the car is on and my car ain't charging no matter how many altenator i get. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR

okay ...well you have two connections at the alternator. one is a direct wire to the battery make sure that the connection is clean. then you have a green plug w/ i think 4 wires in it. check the plug make sure all the wires are attached to the pins. something tells me one or more of the wires in that plug is not making connection. good luck lemme know what happens.
